Need help with basic everyday maths, want to improve your employment prospects, is your maths letting you down. Then I can help you improve your basic maths giving you the confidence to go on and study maths at G. C. S. E and beyond. Tuition is carried out in the strictest of confidence.
Also, available are intensive summer revision courses of two or more hours a week during the summer school holiday. These courses allow students to catch up and move ahead with the particular subject they may be having trouble with. I am also able to offer intensive revision sessions in the weeks leading up to exams in May and June.
I am also able to help Year Six pupils prepare for their mathematics Key Stage Two tests, which are taken in May each year. There are usually places available for intensive preparation during the Easter Holiday period.
Along with these summer courses, I also have available bridging courses between G. C. S. E and A-Level & Primary and Secondary School.
All prices are inclusive of the worksheets, homework exercises and past exam papers used during lessons with students.
For Private Students, (Students studying at Home) an administration fee applies for authentication & submission of coursework, details on request.
All Key Stage Three students receive a science booklet. This booklet is intended to be of help throughout key stage three science, and also as a valuable resource for final revision for the key stage three science test papers.
All G.C.S.E students receive a free information pack when they begin their studies with me.
Physics A-Level students receive a free information pack, including all the formulae they need for their particular syllabus.

In 1985 I started my first degree with the open university, reading mechanical engineering, physics and applied mathematics. Graduating with a basic degree in 1993, this I turned into an honourís degree in 1996. I then went on to study a second degree reading the history of science and mathematics, graduating in 2001. During 1991 to 1992 I attended Greenwich University in order to obtain my teaching certificate, being awarded the Certificate in Education (Further Education) in July 1992.
It was in October 1992 that I began my full-time professional occupation as a private tutor. 1995 appointed G.C.S.E physics examiner.
October 2006, granted associate membership of the Institute of Educational Assessors in recognition of more than ten years examining G.C.S.E physics and moderating G.C.S.E science coursework. 2012 appointed a senior physics examiner.
